The Stabat Mater Concert was designed by the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat and the CIDIM (Italian National Music Committee).

In collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat, the Embassy of Italy in Rabat, and the CIDIM (Italian National Music Committee). The Young Musicians European Orchestra brings unique artistic and human experiences through the skill, joy, and will of young musicians.

Faced with the shortage of lyrical and symphonic formations, these artists have decided to make their professionalism available by personally committing themselves.

Introduction

• Reading of the Stabat Mater, a religious sequence from the 13th century by Jacopone da Todi
• Reading of the text in Italian by Carmela Callea, director attached to cultural affairs at the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat
• Reading in Arabic by the poet Nabil Meda, author of the Arabic translation of the work of Jacopone da Todi
• Performance of “Stabat Mater” by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi
• Performance of Ave Maria from the Opera Othello by Giuseppe Verdi
• Performance of Agnus Dei from the Petite Messe Solennelle by Gioachino Rossini
• Concert “For the Solemnity of the Holy Language of Saint Anthony of Padua” by Antonio Vivaldi

The Concert of the Young Musicians European Orchestra was designed by the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat, the Embassy of Italy in Rabat, and the CIDIM (Italian National Music Committee – a non-profit musical association, recognized since 1981 by the IMC – International Music Council – NGO in partnership with UNESCO).
