Izza a aussi signé deux ouvrages: « Maroc » (Ed Richer/Vilo) et « Maroc, Royaume des 1001 Fêtes » (Ed Plume/Flammarion) ainsi que de nombreux articles.

In 1960, Izza Génini left Morocco, her native country, to settle in France. As a result of her first return trip to Morocco in 1973, she decided to devote herself to film distribution and production in the Moroccan and African cinema. In 1981, she produced « TRANSES », a film on Nass El Ghiwane group, entrusting the production to Ahmed Maaninou. At the end of the 1980’s, she decided to start the realisation of a collection of documentary films, devoted to the musical and cultural richness of the Moroccan heritage. The musical series «Maroc Corps et Ame » was followed by other documentaries with various titles such as « Retrouver Oulad Moumen”, « Pour le plaisir des yeux », « Nûba d’or et de Lumière », « La Route du Cédrat, le fruit de la Splendeur ».
