Tariqa Aissawiya was  established by its sheikhs, of whom Muqaddam Muhammad,  otherwise known as Muhammad Belmarouf, and Muqaddam Mulay Muhammad Al ‘Amrani. Ever since its inception, the tariqa has contributed to the teaching of its Messages and Origins to the proponents of this ancestral heritage.  

The tariqa leader is Muqaddam Muhammad Sussi, also known as Muhammad Belahcen.
