Frederika VAN INGEN is author of “Sagesses d’ailleurs pour vivre aujourd’hui” ( (Pub. Les Arènes) in which she has gathered the track records and testimonies of « passers » who have been initiated to the traditions of autochtonous peoples (Navajos, Maasaï, Kogis, Pueblos, Apaches, Tsaatans of Mongolia, etc.) and who have translated, for our cultures, their views on the world, in order to make clear the paths of inspiration for our modern societies. She set the quest for meaning, the restoration and the healing of the link to self, to nature and to the collective, at the heart of her action, haunted as she is by her passion for, and her personal commitment to, the teachings of these traditions. As a journalist, she has contributed to several magazines on issues such as the environment, health, psychology, « personal development » and first nations, in particular as head of department at “Ça m’intéresse” for twelve years.
