Hope has an energy that alone makes us look 'beyond the horizon', as the poet said. The Fes Festival invites us to harness this hope and glimpse beyond a largely disenchanted world to re-establish a brighter future that enchants.
World Sacred Music already contains living memories of this desire for enlightenment and transcendance.
To this emotional dimension, we can also add a dimension of reflection and of strength of purpose that are the very foundation of the Fes Forum, Giving Soul to Globalisation. One way of reconciling 'hearts and minds' is in the realisation of meaningful projects. This is also the vocation of the Spirit of Fes Foundation.
